Cintia Cuesta

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1964.

Graduated from the architecture career of the University of Buenos Aires, a profession she practiced until 2010 and then dedicated exclusively to art.

She began her studies in the workshop of Guillermo Roux in 1997 and since 2014, she fully turned to abstraction and geometry, studying art, engraving and painting clinics. It is in engraving and its different techniques where she plays with plots, one of his themes in constant process. Thus, she manages to cut and pierce them to reassemble different ones with different rules of composition. The objective of this process is to distort the logic to find a different result than expected, using the plot as a story and structure.

She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires.
