Teresa Magrane

Born in Córdoba, Argentina, in 1948.

She studied Teaching in Education at the Jesús María School. He trained in painting in the workshops of the artists Susana Marenco and Enrique Torroja. For several years she attended Remo Bianchedi’s work clinics, at the National School of Fine Arts.

Starting from litography, monotypes, drawing inks and oil pastels I dedicate myself to collage works.

Overlapping translucent papers previously printed by me in the aforementioned techniques the work is composed itself I accompanying, looking for balance of shapes and colors.

I don’t believe in inspiration as something abstract, everything I see and live is inspirating: Share talks, work with other artists, look at other people’s artwork. But my main source of inspiration is Nature.

She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires.
