I am inspired by geometry, nature and the human body, interconnected. Its colors, textures, shapes, sizes, contours and liveliness naively and intensely awaken my imagination. I do not try to imitate them but to re-imagine them and re-signify them in a pictorial language.
My paintings are compositions that hide under all their layers, works of artists and photographic images as references. I create with what is happening on the fabric and I let myself be surprised. And in this process, strokes, dots, organic lines, scribbles, smudges and paint splashes appear.
