Oculto a simple vista

The three photographic artists that make up this exhibition seem to propose in it an enunciative threshold that precisely makes dual certainties stumble, at least in what has to do with the arrangements to which perception usually leads us. None of the pieces they present could be easily classified within the field of photography as reference, data, evidence or document, and at the same time they resist being labeled as invention, allusion, ellipsis, or mere abstraction. Something about them is fanatically material, tactile, evident, and generates a referential impulse, which runs hand in hand with an immediate, almost physical attraction. At the same time, singularly, such explicit propulsion nevertheless imposes a feeling of pure uncertainty; An indefinable quality covers them like a strategic veil, something reluctant to immediate empathy, to allowing us to even establish an imaginary dialogue that is not that of doubt, interrogation; at best, conjecture.
