Rosario Briones

Rosario Briones (Buenos Aires, 1974) Visual artist and teacher.

She holds a National Degree in Painting from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts and completed postgraduate seminars at the Ernesto de la Cárcova Higher School of Fine Arts. She attended private workshops with Sergio Bazán, Carolina Antoniadis, and Laura Messing, and participated in art clinics with Leila Tschopp and Alejandra Roux.

She was a member of Grupo Charco, an art collective dedicated to research and artistic projects. In 2023, she completed two residencies: “Land Art” alongside Desiree de Ridder at Casa Providencia, and “The Impact of Landscape” in General Belgrano with Grupo Charco, creating site-specific works.

She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in national and international museums and galleries, notably the Centro Cultural Recoleta (CABA), MACSur (Lanús), Sívori Museum, Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispano-American Art (CABA), Casa Ensamble (Colombia), and Arte Américas (USA).

She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires, where she teaches at her private studio.
